April 19 Best NBA Playoffs Bets
Clippers vs. Nuggets: Clippers (+120) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Los Angeles Clippers finished the regular season on an eight-game winning streak. They're one of the hottest teams in the NBA heading into the postseason. In addition, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard are hitting their stride, and the Clippers' defense is immaculate.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets have already fired head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth ahead of the playoffs. There's more uncertainty with the Nuggets.
This series is more of a toss-up. Ultimately, the Clippers have to be feeling way better heading into it. Don't be surprised if they begin the series with a win on the road.
Pistons vs. Knicks: Knicks -7 (-110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Knicks certainly aren't playing their best basketball heading into the playoffs, but everyone knows they have the pieces to contend. Yes, they haven't beaten the best teams in the NBA, but that will happen eventually.
The Pistons haven't made the playoffs since 2019. They're an inexperienced bunch that will have to play on the biggest stage to begin their playoff journey.
In addition, the Knicks just faced the Pistons. While the Knicks lost that game, New York didn't have Josh Hart or OG Anunoby in that game. Tom Thibodeau acknowledged that game helped them learn some things about the Pistons that they'll potentially be able to exploit in this series.
The Knicks will come to play tonight.
Timberwolves vs. Lakers: Under 216 (-112) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Lakers and Timberwolves each won two games against each other in the regular season. In all four of those games, the total never exceeded 213.
In each game, one team scored no more than 103 points.
Meanwhile, to close the regular season, Minnesota held its last two opponents to no more than 105 points. The Lakers didn't allow more than 109 points in three of their last four games (before Sunday's game), and held two teams to below 100 points, including the Thunder.
I'll back the Under in this one.
