Warriors vs. Rockets Same-Game Parlay Pick: Back This +536 SGP for NBA Playoffs

We've got to wait all night for the first round's most anticipated matchup in the NBA Playoffs.

The Golden State Warriors will battle the Houston Rockets in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.

The Warriors finished the season 48-34 but earned the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies in the 7-8 Play-In Tournament game. Meanwhile, the Rockets are the No. 2 seed despite winning only four more games than the Warriors.

While Houston only won four more games, the Rockets ultimately lost their final three games when nothing was really at stake.

Houston's last win came on the road against the Warriors, where they defeated Golden State, 106-96. The Rockets held Stephen Curry to three points in 33 minutes and allowed only 13 points from Jimmy Butler in 33 minutes.

It's unlikely Houston will pull off that type of defensive performance again in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. But can the Warriors defend well enough to escape the Warriors in Game 1 at home?

Here's a same-game parlay for tonight's Warriors-Rockets matchup.

NBA Same Game Parlay - Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets

Leg 1: Houston Rockets (-116)

The Warriors and Rockets have had some very close and competitive games this season.

The Warriors won three of five head-to-head meetings this season. However, every game ended by a margin of ten points or fewer. In addition, the road team won three of the five games.

Let's go back to that April 6th matchup between the Rockets and Warriors. Houston won by ten points on the road against Golden State. They held Curry and Butler to 16 points combined and held the Warriors to 41.6% from the field.

Additionally, the Rockets didn't foul much in that game, and both teams struggled from the free-throw line.

This game figures to be a tight, defensive-minded matchup. But the Rockets should be able to find more fastbreak points like they did against the Warriors in that last regular-season game. That should be the difference right there.

Leg 2: Fred VanVleet Under 13.5 Points (+102)

The Rockets can still win without Fred VanVleet's performance. VanVleet has scored at least 14 points in just 47% of games this season and has added at least 14 points in just one of his last five games.

Beyond that, VanVleet has earned 14 or more points in none of his last seven games against the Warriors. Again, go back to that April 6th game. VanVleet scored only three points and hit one of eight shots. His volume wasn't even high.

That's because the Warriors rank No. 1 in the NBA in points allowed to point guards this season.

Leg 3: Moses Moody Under 9.5 Points (-112)

Moses Moody has added at least ten points in none of his last seven games. He's also hit this line in only three of 13 games against the Rockets dating back to 2021.

Ultimately, the Rockets rank 8th in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards this season and second in three-pointers made to shooting guards this year.

That said, Moody has hit 25% from downtown in three of his last four games. He's also shot below 45% from the field in the previous ten games. He certainly won't have it easy against the Rockets' defense tonight.

Warriors vs. Rockets Same-Game Parlay (+536) (Bet $100 to Collect $636)

  • Leg 1: Houston Rockets (-116)
  • Leg 2: Fred VanVleet Under 13.5 Points (+102)
  • Leg 3: Moses Moody Under 9.5 Points (-112)
