4 min3 Best NBA Playoffs Bets for Thunder vs. Grizzlies Game 4
While most of the national sports attention was focused on the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder erased a 26-point halftime deficit to beat the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 of their series.
For Memphis, it was probably a good thing that not as many people were locked in on that game, because that is an embarrassing way to lose. The Grizzlies were held to just 31 points in the second half of Game 3, and it's hard to a positive way forward for this Memphis team.
Ja Morant will also miss Game 4 with a hip injury, so the hits keep coming for the Grizzlies.
This series will likely wrap up on Saturday afternoon in Memphis, and here are my three best bets for Game 4:

I just don't see how the Grizzlies muster enough to keep this one close. It's abundantly clear that the Thunder are the superior team in this series, and even when Memphis used all of its effort to build a big lead, it still wasn't enough.
Just from a psychological standpoint, it's hard to imagine that a Grizzlies team without its best player will be up to the task in Game 4 when OKC can smell blood in the water.
And by the way, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn't played particularly well! SGA is shooting 35.3% in this series, connecting on just 20-of-55 shots in the last two games. Unfortunately for Memphis, his off-shooting hasn't resulted in any Thunder losses, which speaks to their amazing depth. Expect SGA to score more efficiently in Game 4 in another lopsided OKC win.

Each of the three games in this series have yet to reach 223 total points (Game 3 finished at 222), and I think that trend continues in Game 4.
The Thunder are suffocating the Grizzlies. Memphis has been held to 95.7 points per game this series and has only strung together one half of excellent offensive basketball.
OKC finished third in the regular season in points allowed (107.6 PPG) and first in defensive efficiency, so it's no surprise to see its defense flex its muscles.
With no Morant against a stingy Thunder defense, the Grizzlies will struggle to score once again and that should be enough for under 223 points to hit.

Pippen has already averaged more than 30 minutes per game this series, and he should see even more in Game 4 with Morant sidelined.
That playing time should provide him more scoring opportunities, which is why I like him to score at least 15 points. He just dropped 28 points in Game 3, and while he probably won't repeat that output in Game 4, getting to 15 points is not asking too much.
