4 minCeltics vs. Knicks Prediction: Can Derrick White Stay Hot as Celtics Aim to Even Series in Game 4?
The Celtics were bound to start hitting their three-pointers, and it finally happened in Game 3. After shooting 25-for-100 (25%) in the first two games, Boston was more efficient at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, hitting 20 of 40 from three and shooting 48.2% from the field in a 115-93 win to get back in the series.

Celtics vs. Knicks Game 4 Prediction
Derrick White tends to thrive against the Knicks, and has continued to do so in the first three games of the series. The Celtics guard is averaging 18.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, three assists and 3.7 three-pointers in the series. White is averaging 15 field goal attempts per game and 13 rebound chances per game.
White had 19 points and 11 rebounds in Game 1 and 20 points and nine rebounds in Game 2, and he didn’t shoot well. He shot 6-for-18 from the field in the first game and 6-for-17 in the second game. In Game 3, the Celtics shot much better and hit the three-pointers, going 20-for-40 from three.
White didn’t see as much volume due to the 22-point blowout win, playing only 34 minutes while still going over the 21.5 points + rebounds prop with 17 points and five rebounds. He shot 6-for-10 from the field and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. The Knicks shot 40% from the field and only 5 of 25 (20%) from three.
The Knicks will shoot better in this game, and as long as the game stays competitive until the fourth quarter, White will see minutes close to 40. He played 44 minutes in the overtime game to open the series and 40 minutes in the second game. White has at least 22 points+rebounds in six of the eight playoff games this season. In the last five games against the Knicks, White has 28, 22, 30, 29 and 22 points+rebounds. Let's make it six and cash again.
