Nuggets vs. Thunder Prop Pick: Can Jalen Williams Ensure Victory for OKC in Game 7?
The youngest team in the NBA will have to beat the team with the most experience in Games 7s over the last few seasons. The Thunder won 68 games in the regular season and with a win at home on Sunday afternoon over the Nuggets would advance to the Western Conference Finals against Minnesota.
Over the last seven years, Denver has played in six Game 7's, and are 4-2 overall in such contests. The interesting wrinkle this time is that Aaron Gordon is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury after grabbing at his left hamstring in the final minute of Game 6 on Thursday. Gordon has averaged 14.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and shooting 45.2% from three-point range.
Michael Porter Jr. has also been limited by a left shoulder injury and has averaged 7.7 points, while shooting 31.4% from the field. It doesn’t get any better than Shai Gilegeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic going head-to-head in an elimination game.

Nuggets vs. Thunder Game 7 Prediction
Jalen Williams hasn’t had the best series for the Thunder when it comes to shooting. The Thunder forward has shot 33.7% from the field, including 21.2% from three-point range. He has shot 35.7% or less in four of the six games, and topped 18 points just once.
But Williams has contributed in other areas. He’s been a playmaker and has the ball in his hands often, especially as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets constant double-teams. Williams has at least 11 rebounds+assists in four of the six games. He is averaging 5.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in the series.
In Game 5, he had nine rebounds and four assists, and added seven rebounds and 10 assists in the next game. Williams is averaging 9.8 rebound chances and 10.5 potential assists in the series. In seven of the 10 playoff games so far, Williams has at least 11 rebounds + assists.
With the season on the line, Williams could push 40 minutes. He has played 38 minutes in each of the last two games. While offense tends to become more difficult in a Game 7, it could lead to more rebounds for Williams. He could also get there on assists since the role players tend to shoot better at home. For example, Lu Dort shot 44.6% on three-pointers at home compared to 35.2% on the road.
