Pacers vs. Knicks Same-Game Parlay: Can Tyrese Haliburton, Pacers Surprise in Eastern Conference Finals Game 1
After seven days of waiting, the Indiana Pacers will finally play another game.
The Pacers knocked off the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games after being underdogs to start the series. They waited a full week before having to play another game.
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks did the unthinkable. They beat the reigning and defending NBA champs in six games. Yes, Jayson Tatum was injured to close out the series. But the Knicks had been up 3-1 in the series when he got hurt. The Knicks weren't gifted anything. If anything, the Pacers had it better, with Darius Garland and Evan Mobley missing some time during the NBA's second round.
Last year, the Pacers beat the Knicks in seven games during the second round of the playoffs. This Pacers-Knicks matchup is starting to become a heated rivalry between two teams with many intriguing young assets and lots of depth.
Which team can begin the series 1-0?

Pacers vs. Knicks Game 1 Same-Game Parlay
Leg 1: Pacers +4.5 (-110)
The Indiana Pacers have been the second-best offense in the NBA Playoffs. They've scored 119.5 points per 100 possessions and have added a 59.1% effective field goal percentage. That's the No. 1 rate in the playoffs right now.
Additionally, the Pacers have limited turnovers to 12.6% and have added a 20.8 free-throw rate. The Pacers won't dominate the offensive glass, but they also haven't had to since they've shot a super high effective field goal percenatge in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Knicks have shot a 51.3% effective field goal percentage. New York has been super inefficient offensively, adding 112.2 points per 100 possessions. I'd expect the Knicks to win more on the offensive glass, but the turnovers are a little high in the playoffs at 13.6%.
I'm expecting a tight game, but I think the Pacers have enough offense to keep this game close and potentially win outright.
Leg 2: Tyrese Haliburton Over 18.5 Points (+100)
Tyrese Haliburton isn't a consistent scorer. However, he finished with 31 points against the Cavaliers in Game 5. He's shown up when it's mattered the most, which doesn't go unnoticed.
That said, the Knicks rank 27th in field goal percentage allowed to point guards. They also rank 26th in points allowed to point guards and continue to allow a very high amount of field goal attempts from point guards. Haliburton should be able to take advantage. He's shot at least 60% in three of his last five games and already has an elite matchup against the Knicks.
Leg 3: Myles Turner Under 6.5 Rebounds (-118)
Myles Turner finished with seven rebounds in each of his last two games for the Pacers. But he will face a Knicks team that rarely allows rebounds to centers.
After all, the Knicks rank No. 1 in the NBA in defensive rebounds allowed to centers. They're also No. 1 in the NBA in total rebounds allowed to centers. In Turner's latest game against the Knicks in the regular season, he finished with six rebounds.
Ultimately, he's had about 12 or 13 rebound chances per game in the regular season against the Knicks per game. That would mean he'd need to bring down more than half of them to get the over. Against the Knicks, that won't be easy.
Pacers vs. Knicks Same-Game Parlay (+449) (Bet $100 to Collect $549)
- Leg 1: Pacers +4.5 (-110)
- Leg 2: Tyrese Haliburton Over 18.5 Points (+100)
- Leg 3: Myles Turner Under 6.5 Rebounds (-118)
