At some point in the series, we might get a competitive basketball game. The Thunder opened the Western Conference Finals at home and won the first two games by 26 and 15 points. The Timberwolves made sure it wouldn’t end so easily with a blowout win in Game 3 in Minnesota, 143-101.
After shooting 29% from three-point range in the first two games, Minnesota went 20-for-40 (50%) in Game 3 and shot 57.3% from the field. None of the Thunders’ starters played more than 28 minutes. Anthony Edwards outscored the Thunder in the first quarter with 16 points, while Oklahoma City had just 14 total. Minnesota aims to tie the series in Game 4 on Monday night.

Thunder vs. Timberwolves Game 4 Prediction
There’s nothing much to take away from the Thunder in Game 3. They didn’t come to play and Minnesota was hitting every shot. The Thunder scored 14 points in the first quarter and trailed 72-41 at the half. The good thing is some props shift in a positive way for betting purposes.
After we cashed the Jalen Williams prop of over 10.5 rebounds + assists in Game 2, it increased to 11.5 the next game. For Game 4, it’s back to 10.5. Williams only played 25 minutes in the last game and had four rebounds and two assists on six rebound chances and eight potential assists. The Thunder forward has been crushing this prop in the postseason, going over in 10 of 14 games.
Williams is averaging 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in the postseason. Williams had eight rebounds and five assists in Game 1 and 10 rebounds and five assists in Game 2. He is averaging 13.5 rebound chances and 11.5 potential assists in the series. The rebounds have increased with the Thunder going small more often.
Isaiah Hartenstein is playing fewer minutes, opening up more rebound chances for Williams and Chet Holmgren is only averaging 5.3 rebounds. Holmgren averaged 7.8 rebounds in the first round against Memphis and 10.9 in the second round against Denver.
Williams runs the offense when Gilgeous-Alexander is off the floor helping get assists and Williams averaged 6.75 assists in four regular season games against Minnesota and had five assists in each of the first two games. Williams has at least 12 rebounds + assists in five of the last six games.
He averaged 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the regular season, but only averaged 32.4 minutes per game. In competitive playoff games, Williams will play 35-38 minutes.
