Yaxel Lendeborg Golden State Warriors 2026

Warriors vs. Mavericks Prediction, Best Bet, Latest NBA Summer League Odds - Thursday, July 9th

Golden State and Dallas meet Thursday at 7:00 PM ET, with the Warriors laying 4.5 and the total set at 179.5. Yaxel Lendeborg has already looked like a plug-and-play piece for Golden State, giving the Warriors a strong edge over a Mavericks roster built around Morez Johnson Jr. and Ryan Nembhard.

Warriors vs. Mavericks Prediction: Can Yaxel Lendeborg Carry Warriors in NBA Summer League Against Former Teammate Morez Johnson?

The Golden State Warriors face the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, July 9, at 7:00 PM ET in Las Vegas. Golden State is a 4.5-point favorite at -192 on the moneyline, while Dallas is +4.5 with a +154 moneyline price and the total is set at 179.5.

Golden State has one of the stronger early data points on the slate because Yaxel Lendeborg has already played well in Summer League action. That matters in a market where most teams are still theoretical, especially with the Warriors asking Lendeborg to show whether he can become part of the NBA rotation sooner than expected.

Warriors vs. Mavericks Prediction

Lendeborg’s appeal is obvious. He brings strength, rebounding, defensive activity and enough shooting touch to fit the type of role Golden State values around its veteran core. His early Summer League production showed that he can impact the game without needing every possession run for him, which is a major advantage in these scattered early games.

Dallas has a real prospect of its own in Morez Johnson Jr., the No. 9 pick, and Ryan Nembhard gives the Mavericks a steady guard who can organize possessions. John Poulakidas, Tyler Smith, Tobi Lawal and Moussa Cisse round out a roster with shooting and size, but the Mavericks may need time to blend a new frontcourt with a lead guard who is still proving he can control NBA-level pace.

The Warriors’ case is cleaner because Lendeborg is already playing like the best two-way piece in this matchup. If Golden State gets even average guard play around him, its defense, rebounding and transition pressure should be enough to cover a manageable number.

Warriors vs. Mavericks Best Bet

Golden State is the play because Lendeborg already looks comfortable in a Summer League setting and gives the Warriors the best two-way player in this matchup. Dallas has interesting pieces, but the Warriors’ defensive activity, rebounding and early continuity should create enough separation to cover the number.
