I found a future that I need all of you to lock in. We are looking at the Big East Tournament. As a kid, this was always one of my favorite tournaments. There have been so many memorable games thru the years, and I am hopeful that we get some more this season. The Marquette Golden Eagles shocked the league this year and won the Big East, going 17-3 in the conference. The question that all gamblers want to know is who wins the conference tournament. Lucky for us, I have the answer key.

Big East Tournament Prediction
I am going with value here and taking Villanova to win the Big East at +1000. You have to throw some lunch money on this play. The Cats began the year as a ranked team, but injuries really slowed them and forced them to have their worst season in recent memory.
Despite the poor season overall, they played their strongest basketball in the last month. They were missing their best player Justin Moore, who has since returned and has looked like his old self.
The addition of Moore to this team is significant and it could be the difference in the tournament. I like the path that Nova has as they have Georgetown in the first round, and in the second round, they would face Creighton, a team that they blew out around a month ago. If they win that, they will probably face a somewhat injured Xavier team, and then anything can happen. The point is that they avoided the two best teams in the conference until the championship. We have to throw some lunch money on Nova this week!
