Kansas vs Texas Prediction: Will the Jayhawks Defeat the Longhorns in Big 12 Championship Game?

The Texas Longhorns and the Kansas Jayhawks will duel things out on Saturday night for what should be a great matchup between two championship-caliber teams. No conference in college basketball was as good as the Big 12 was this season. Basically, the whole conference will be dancing in March, and these two teams will be dancing as high seeds.

Kansas vs Texas Prediction

Kansas comes into this game as a No. 1 seed at the moment, and even with a loss, they will likely hold onto that No. 1 seed. Texas is a No. 2 seed right now, and again even with a loss, I would be surprised if they moved off the two-line.

Kansas won a national championship a season ago, and they still have multiple members of that team. One of those members is Jalen Wilson, who has taken a massive step forward this year and has made himself one of the best players in the nation. They also have gotten great production from freshmen star Grady Dick who is one of the best young players in the sport.

Texas, meanwhile, looks like they have a team capable of winning a national championship led by a well-balanced attack. Marcus Carr is the Longhorns' top scorer averaging 15.9 points per game, but they also have three other players that average double figures. Kansas comes into this game as a short two-point favorite.

This will be a great game that I expect to be back and forth early, but I like the Jayhawks to pull off this game. Kansas was just beaten badly by Texas a few weeks ago, and I expect them to play this game with a chip on their shoulder tonight. The Jayhawks are in great form at the moment, and the last thing I want to do is fade a red-hot Kansas team in March. I will trust the Jayhawks to get us rich tonight!
