College of Charleston took the college basketball world by storm early in the year when they got off to a red-hot start. The hot start earned them a couple of weeks in the top twenty-five. College of Charleston was seen as a bubble team, but they took the decision out of the committee's hands when they won their conference tournament. This is an experienced team that looked to get up and down the floor and beat you with their offense.

San Diego State, meanwhile, plays at a completely different pace. The Aztecs are a team that wants to play slow and win games on the defensive side of the basketball. This is an experienced bunch that has enjoyed a lot of success during the regular season the last couple of years, but they have struggled to go on runs in March. The Aztecs are led by a well-balanced attack that senior star Matt Bradley headlines. Bradley has been the best offensive option for the Aztecs this year, averaging 12.9 points per game. The Aztecs enter this game as a five-and-a-half-point favorite.

I will be backing the dog and taking the points with the College of Charleston. This is a team that I believe is being undervalued here, and I trust that they will be able to do enough to keep this game close. This is a team that played in a lot of close games in the conference tournament, and they showed poise in those games. I do not believe the moment will be too big for them today. While San Diego State is a very good defensive team, their offensive struggles scare me, and I would not feel comfortable laying points with them. Let’s keep rolling and cash in!
