March Madness Round of 64 Picks: Predictions for Every NCAA Tournament Game Today

There's a lot of college basketball action today. It can genuinely get overwhelming. But take your time with your process. Don't reach. Don't chase. Enjoy the games and bet with your brain, not just your heart. I've analyzed every game multiple times throughout the last few days. So here are my picks and predictions on each game on the March Madness slate today. All of my picks are from Caesars.

2023 March Madness Picks

West Virginia -3 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Maryland vs. West Virginia Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 12:15 pm ET
• Where to Watch: CBS

The West Virginia offense is just slightly better than Maryland's. The Mountaineers went just 7-11 in conference play but are a nine-seed. That proves a lot about how good the committee thinks West Virginia is.

Virginia vs. Furman Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 12:40 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TruTV

Virginia's offense doesn't even remotely compare to Furman's.

Furman is a fast-paced offense that could make Virginia look foolish in this game. Tony Bennett's a great coach, but this wouldn't be the first time he'd get knocked out in the first round as head coach of Virginia.

Missouri vs. Utah State Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 1:40 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TNT

Utah State and Missouri both have terrific offenses. It's just that Utah State's defense is at least solid inside the arc. Missouri's defense has been dreadful. The Tigers won't be able to defend elite offenses like Utah State and can't even dominate the defensive glass. They'll allow a bunch of second chances.

Ride Utah State.

Kansas +22 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Kansas vs. Howard Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 2:00 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TBS

Howard's only issue will be turnovers. But that's a big deal against one of the best teams in the country.

Kansas will add points off turnovers and dominate the offensive and defensive glass. That should be enough to cover the 22 points.

Alabama -24 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Alabama vs. Texas A&M CC Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 2:45 pm ET
• Where to Watch: CBS

Alabama's the best team in the nation. Texas A&M CC has no business staying in a close game against Alabama. Most SEC teams couldn't even do that.

Charleston +5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

San Diego State vs. Charleston Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 3:10 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TruTV

This is more of an evenly-matched game between these two teams. Whatever San Diego State can do, Charleston can do too. So why not take the five points?

Arizona vs. Princeton Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 4:10 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TNT

The Princeton Tigers have done a great job limiting offensive rebounds this year. But going up against Arizona will be another challenge for the Tigers.

Arkansas vs. Illinois Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 4:30 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TBS

Both teams have underachieved this year. And while both teams are pretty even in terms of analytics, Arkansas should end up fouling more. If Illinois can get to the foul line more consistently, they'll likely earn the outright win.

Iowa vs. Auburn Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 6:50 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TNT

Iowa's going to be tremendous on offense tonight. Auburn has allowed teams to earn 32% of offensive rebounds and is fouling at a ridiculous rate. The Hawkeyes already shoot the ball at a high level. Now add second chances with plenty of foul shots.

They'll win.

Duke -6 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Duke vs. Oral Roberts Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 7:10 pm ET
• Where to Watch: CBS

I love Oral Roberts just not against Duke.

The Golden Eagles won't have success on the offensive glass and probably won't even get to the foul line much. Duke has plenty of athleticism and will dominate this game unless Oral Roberts goes crazy from the field. It's not happening.

Texas vs. Colgate Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 7:25 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TBS

If Rodney Terry can coach Texas out of the first round, he'll be a legend at Texas. It's been that bad for the Longhorn fan base.

Texas needs to prove that they belong in this game. After a dominating Big-12 Championship performance, expect them to take that momentum and out-score Colgate in a high-scoring game.

Boise State +1.5 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Northwestern vs. Boise State Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 7:35 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TruTV

We're going to get a terrific defensive matchup here. Northwestern is weak from the field, hitting only 32.1% from three and 46.5% from inside the arc. Boise State at least shoots 36% from three and 50.7% from inside the arc. The Broncos are the better team on both sides of the ball.

Houston vs. Northern Kentucky Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 9:20 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TNT

Just 18 points? From Houston? The No. 1 rated team on KenPom? The team that lost just three games all year? Yeah right.

Louisiana +11 (-110) (Bet $110 to collect $210) Caesars has the best odds; click here to bet

Tennessee vs. Louisiana Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 9:40 pm ET
• Where to Watch: CBS

The Vols have done great on the defensive end. But its offense doesn't even compare to Louisiana. The Vols have shot just 32.9% from downtown and 50.9% from inside the arc.

The Ragin' Cajuns have limited offensive rebounds, which is the one area where Tennessee has had success this year. I'll take my chances with a Louisiana cover.

Texas A&M vs. Penn State Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 9:55 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TBS

Penn State would need to shoot it exceptionally well to win this game. The Nittany Lions rarely earn offensive rebounds or get to the foul line. Texas A&M is the exact opposite.

UCLA vs. UNC Asheville Start Time, Where to Watch

• Game Time: 10:05 pm ET
• Where to Watch: TruTV

UCLA's without Jaylen Clark. A lot of analysts are no longer on UCLA. But this team has a ton of veteran leadership and could make it far in the tournament. They'll prove that tonight against UNC Asheville.
