Florida A&M vs. Creighton Prediction, Betting Picks, and Latest Odds
Creighton was a few possessions away from the Final Four last season as they lost to San Diego State by a single point in the Elite 8, and they return nearly every starter from last season with a few key additions. Let's break down this matchup they have with Florida A&M to see where the value is.

Last year, Creighton got one of the most coveted transfers in the nation as South Dakota State sharpshooter, Baylor Scheierman, chose the Blue Jays over many others. I have no idea how Scheierman still has eligibility left as it feels like he has been in college forever, but he returns to Creighton this season along with 7-foot center Ryan Kalkbrenner, who is a force in the paint.

Florida A&M vs. Creighton Prediction
Kalkbrenner averaged 16.2 points per game last season on 69% shooting and also has a nice touch from the outside and from the line as he shot 35% from three and 81% at the charity stripe. Kalkbrenner should have an absolute field day on the inside against this undermanned Florida A&M squad. Florida A&M is also in the SWAC and is a similar program to Mississippi Valley State in the sense that they are usually a bottom 5-10 team in college basketball and do not have the size on the inside to compete with bigs like Kalkbrenner.
Last night we saw Will Baker have a huge night on the inside for LSU as he went for 29 points and five rebounds on 10-11 shooting from the field. Kalkbrenner should have a very similar game tonight as Scheierman and star Utah State transfer, Steven Ashworth, should be able to break anyone in front of them down off the dribble for opportunities at the rim. Creighton is also an excellent three-point shooting team. Trey Alexander for the Blue Jays returns, and he shot 39.6% from three last season; Scheierman shot 36% from deep, Ashworth was nearly tops in the nation as he shot 43% from deep on 7.4 attempts per game, and sophomore sharpshooter Mason Miller shot just under 37% from three last season in limited action but should see a bigger role this season.
Much like LSU against Mississippi Valley State last night, Creighton should have an enormous size and athleticism advantage tonight. Florida A&M only has one player on their roster listed above 6'9 and Baylor Scheierman should be a huge mismatch on the perimeter at 6'7 as he has an above average handle and skillset for his size. Creighton should be able to get whatever they want on offense in this matchup, and I think it will be a very similar game flow to the LSU/Mississippi Valley State game that we saw last night which went well over the total.
With that being said, I am rolling with 1H Over 65 at -110 and the Full Game Over 138.5 at -111 for 1U each for a 2U position on the over as my most confident college basketball play of the day for tonight's action. For what its worth, Creighton also played an exhibition against D2 Wayne State a few weeks ago in which the final score was 95-48 (total of 143). Florida A&M is actually comparable to some D2 teams in terms of size and athleticism, and I fully expect Creighton to get whatever they want on offense and on the offensive boards which should lead to a higher scoring game.
