After losing their second game of the season to St. Mary’s, the Lobos have yet to lose another game. Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jaelen House both missed some time at the start of the season and didn’t even play in that game. New Mexico will have their dynamic duo for tonight’s elite matchup against Colorado State.
The Rams are currently ranked No. 13 in the country, but I think New Mexico is the better team. They got off to a slow start, but after returning Mashburn Jr. and House to their backcourt, the Lobos look dangerous, especially on offense. They have more talent compared to the Rams, who have Isaiah Stevens as their lone star.
The Lobos have plenty of talent to keep up with and beat Colorado State on their home floor tonight. I’m sure they still remember getting beat by CSU in the last game of the 2023 regular season. I’m willing to bet the Lobos get some revenge on the road in this spot tonight.
Jaelen House continues to look better and better in every game since returning from injury, and this offense comes and goes with him. Back the Lobos on the spread to keep this game within a basket.
