Dayton vs VCU Prediction: Can DaRon Holmes II, Flyers Take Care of Business on the Road?
The No. 18 Dayton Flyers head over to Richmond, Virginia, to take on the 15-8 VCU Rams. This game will be big for Atlantic 10 conference play, as Dayton is first in the conference and VCU is sitting in fourth. With a win tonight for VCU, they could be back into contention for winning the conference.

Dayton vs. VCU Prediction
Dayton is 9-1 in conference play with their only loss coming from Richmond on the road. Dayton has not played VCU this year as they will face them again in the last game of the regular season. Dayton is led by junior forward DaRon Holmes II. Holmes is averaging 19.7 PPG, 7.6 RPG, and 1.7 BPG. The junior leads the team in all three categories and is a big factor in tonight's game. I expect him to be the games leading scorer and he could be on double-double watch.
As for the matchup tonight, I think that the better team will win. Dayton is by far the better team, but VCU is not horrible. Dayton matches up pretty well against the Rams hence why I think that the Flyers come out on top tonight. Dayton plays slow and shoots selective shots. They pick their spots, run their offense, and look for the best shot possible. They shoot it well from three shooting it fifth best in the nation at 40%. They share the ball well and do not turn it over much. VCU's defense is not the best, and I think that Dayton will capitalize on this tonight. I would not be surprised if Dayton goes into VCU's gym and wins by 6+.
