New Mexico vs. Nevada Prediction, Pick Against the Spread, and Latest Odds

The New Mexico Lobos and the Nevada Wolf Pack will meet from the entertainment capital of the world on Tuesday night.

This is a huge matchup for two bubble teams.

Both of these teams have big wins on their resume l this year but playing in a non-power conference, the margin for error is minimal.

New Mexico vs. Nevada Prediction

New Mexico begins this contest with a 19-5 record.

The Lobos fell out of the top 25 after a bad loss at home against UNLV in a game in which they were 11.5-point favorites.

New Mexico's 7-4 conference record is good for fourth place in the Mountain West.

Riverdale, California native Donovan Dent leads the team in with 15.9 points per game and 5.7 assists.

Senior Jaelen House has been great for the Lobos, averaging 15.7 points and 3.8 assists. House is one of the best defensive guards in the nation.

Senior Jamal Mashburn Jr. has added 15.2 points per game.

Freshman JT Toppin leads the squad with 8.8 rebounds per game.

The Lobos offense has scored 83.9 points per game while allowing 70.1.

Nevada represents a 19-5 record.

The Wolf Pack picked up a huge win at home on Friday over San Diego State.

Nevada can find their way back into the tournament with a win at home tonight.

Senior Jarod Lucas is one of the best shooters in the conference. Lucas leads the team in scoring with 16.9 points per game.

Orlando native Kenan Blackshear has added 15.9 points and a team-best 4.6 assists.

Sophomore Nick Davidson leads the team in rebounds with 6.9 while adding 11.7 points.

Tre Coleman has averaged 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds.

The Wolf Pack have averaged 76.3 points while allowing 66.1.

NEW MEXICO VS. NEVADA PICK

Home teams have dominated in the conference at home this year, but the Lobos match up well.

The Lobos hold a large advantage in this game at the guard position.

New Mexico has too much offensive firepower for the Wolf Pack to keep pace with.

Nevada lost 89-55 the last time these two teams played, and while I expect this game to be closer tonight, the Lobos will take care of business.
