Will Mick Cronin’s Bruins defend their home floor with their sixth win in a row, or will Colorado get their lick back after a horrid loss over the weekend?

I’m willing to bet we see the best version of Colorado after 16 turnovers and a 29% shooting performance from three in their last game. Let’s not forget there are at least two or three future pros on this team, and they will be looking to bounce back after an embarrassing loss.
UCLA is trending upward after five straight PAC-12 wins. I was shocked to see this team as an underdog at home after a solid start to 2024. What surprises me most about this spread is the fact that Colorado is the favorite, considering they are 1-6 away from home this season.
Why are oddsmakers choosing tonight to make Colorado a road-favorite? They just got blown out against Arizona in a sharp spot in their last game. Nobody is going to want to bet on Colorado in this spot, and that’s exactly the position we want to be in.
This Colorado team likes to run, and UCLA is one of the slowest teams in the country. I’m willing to bet that the Buffs speed up the Bruins, controlling the tempo and running in transition. UCLA won’t be able to keep up with the fast-paced Buffs; this one could get ugly.
Fade the Bruins on their five game win streak. If the streak was going to continue, they’d at least be a favorite against a 1-6 road team coming off an embarrassing loss. Back Colorado to bounce back with their second road win of the season.
