It’s Senior Night for the Delta Devils, who conveniently have six of their top seven scorers celebrating tonight. This list includes Rayquan Brown, the team’s best player by far. The senior is averaging close to 18 PPG on the season. He had 17 against Prairie View on the road earlier this year on 17 shots. Tonight just so happens to be the Delta Devils’ final home game of the season. It’s now or never for Mississippi Valley State. If they don’t win tonight, they probably aren’t going to beat any of the three teams on their remaining schedule. There is some hope for the Delta Devils, though…
Prairie View has been playing some of their worst basketball of the season of late. They’ve lost four of their last five games. Let’s not forget that the first time these teams played this season, Mississippi Valley State was actually up by five points at halftime.
