On Tuesday night, we get round two of debatably the best college basketball game of the season. The Alabama Crimson Tide are heading to the O’Dome for what should be a high-scoring affair against the Florida Gators. Both teams are coming off a loss, but which SEC offensive juggernaut will come out on top in the Swamp?

Alabama vs. Florida Prediction
It’s senior night for the Gators, as this will be their last home game of the season. For Zyon Pullin and Tyrese Samuel, this will be their last home game with the Gators. These two seniors have been carrying this team, and I’m willing to bet they go out with a bang in their final game on their home floor.
When these two squads faced off for the first time back in February, Florida took Alabama into overtime on their home floor. The Gators had every opportunity to win that game, and I’m sure Todd Golden has been preaching that all week. With the line flipping, it’s looking like it’s the Gators turn to earn a Q1 win before the regular season ends.
Like I said earlier, both of these teams are coming off a loss. The Gators haven’t covered in a couple weeks, and the Crimson Tide has now lost two of their last three games. Having the greatest offense in college basketball is great, until you realize there’s two sides of the ball. They may rank first in PPG this season, but this team has struggled to defend, especially of late.
Alabama has given up more than eighty points in each of their last four games. They haven’t been able to slow down anyone, and their top-twenty ranking in pace this season doesn’t make it seem like they want to slow the game down. That plays right into Florida’s hand, as the Gators thrive in transition. Alabama will struggle mightily covering this fast and efficient Florida offense. They will be able to get whatever they want.
Florida’s defense isn’t anything to write home about, but they have improved in recent weeks. I’ll side with the Gators in their final home game of the season coming off a tough loss to the Gamecocks over the weekend. Fade Alabama as they continue struggling to defend.
