The ACC Tournament starts today, and the Miami Hurricanes have a chance to rewrite their season. It’s been a dumpster-fire down in Coral Gables this year, but with Wooga Poplar, Matthew Cleveland and Norchad Omier all back in the lineup, the Hurricanes have a chance to make up for their letdown of a season. It starts tonight, as they face a Boston College team that’s beaten them both times this year. Will their season end tonight, or will Miami show some heart and start their revenge tour against the Eagles?

Miami vs. Boston College Prediction
Nijel Pack might not be returning for the Hurricanes, but they’ve got plenty of talent to change the narrative. Norchad Omier has been the one constant for this team, and he’s going to have his hands full against Quinten Post tonight, but Miami’s big man seems to shine when they need him most. Expect a big game out of Omier down low, especially if Post gets in foul trouble early.
Boston College has some solid guards in Claudell Harris Jr. and Jaeden Zackery, but Miami has a plethora of talent at the guard position even without Nijel Pack. Kyshawn George is looking to improve his draft stock. Jim Larranaga will have his squad looking like it’s the beginning of a new season once they hit the floor in DC tonight. Don’t count the Hurricanes out just yet!
When the opening lines were released, Boston College was a -1 favorite. Miami quickly got steamed up by sharps, as they currently sit as -2.5 favorites on most books. Considering this team has lost to the Eagles twice this season, and they are currently on a nine game losing streak to end the season, I’m surprised to see such significant line movement.
It’s not like BC finished the season strong, either. Yes, they beat Miami and Louisville on the road to end the season, but before that they had lost six of their previous eight games. It’s extremely difficult to beat a team three times in a single season, especially a squad as talented as Miami. Don’t be surprised if they rip off a couple wins in the ACC tournament to end their season. It starts tonight against an overrated Boston College team. Fade the Eagles, and back Coach Larranaga’s Hurricanes on Tuesday; I’ll meet you at the cash counter.
