The Marquette Golden Eagles and UConn Huskies meet tonight in the Big East Tournament Championship for the third time this season. The Huskies took both of the regular season meetings and are now -9.5 in the tournament championship. Who will earn their automatic bid tonight?

Marquette vs. UConn Prediction
While one team will get an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, the loser should not fret. Both teams enter this game in the top ten in the national rankings and have the recipes for a long run in the NCAA tournament.
Perhaps no one is more primed for a tournament run than the defending National Champions, the Huskies. They returned a lot of production from that team this year, like Tristen Newton and others, and look just as dangerous as ever. That, along with the injury to Marquette’s Tyler Kolek, is why this line is so large.
UConn is the best offensive rebounding in the conference and outrebounded Marquette in both meetings this season. Giving UConn second chances in a game they are already down Kolek will prove to add up quickly in favor of UConn.
Although the most recent meeting with UConn and Marquette ended with a seven-point margin, UConn only shot 38% inside the perimeter and still won by seven. Today the Huskies should be too much for the short handed Golden Eagles and win by double digits.
