Tonight, the NCAA tournament kicks off with two 16 seeds battling it out in an attempt to face North Carolina on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bragging rights are decided tonight for both of these small schools an attempt to upset a number one seed for just the third time ever! But let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's dive into this game tonight.

They went on a historical run in their conference winning three games, and earning the rights to play in the tournament. This Wagner team is led by junior guard Melvin Council Jr. who averages 14.6 PPG, a team high 5.7 RPG, and also a team high in steals with 1.4 per game. This team plays slow and will not get you off your feet. They average 63.5 PPG and are 361st in the nation when it comes to pace, but one thing they will surprise you with is how well they take care of the ball. With all this being said, I like the points here in this game with Wagner. I think that these two teams matchup fairly well and we will see a very low scoring game tonight. In my opinion, this favors Wagner more than Howard as Howard is average in pace compared to other teams in the nation. Although Howard's offense is severally better, Wagner's defense miles ahead of Howard's and in a low-scoring game like this one I will trust Wagner in this spot.
