Thursday Parlay Picks: Targeting Tampa Bay Lighting, Kansas Jayhawks on Thursday Night
For our last play of the day, why don't we combine two plays I am liking to generate some value across the board. To kick things off, let's get the hockey out of the way. The Tampa Bay Lightning (37-25-6) are visiting the San Jose Sharks (16-45-7) tonight at the Sap Center in a game Tampa Bay needs to take care of business.
Thursday Parlay Picks
The Bolts are one of the best, most talented, veteran built squads in hockey who will be a danger to anyone they face in the playoffs but right now, they are somewhat on. the verge of making the playoffs. They sit fourth in the Atlantic seven points behind Toronto so I do not expect them to overtake the leafs; yes, they are comfortably leading the wildcard race but that is not something you want to leave to chance down the stretch here. San Jose has lost 14/15 conceding 26 goals In their last five games. This needs to be a game where the Bolts step out there and take care of business.
The second game I want to dive into takes us the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, as the Samford Bulldogs (29-5) clash with the Kansas Jayhawks (22-10) in a game I am excited for. The spread is set at 7.5 between the 13 and 4 seed here and a lot of people are saying Samford might grind out the win and while I do not think it is outside the realm of possibility, you are insane to fade the Jayhawks in March, especially in the first round. They have never once lost in the round of 64 - yes this team has lost a lot of talent form the national championship team two years ago but they are still a really talented squad led by Dajuan Harris Jr. and KJ Adams. Samford is stepping outside of their weight class here.
