Texas A&M vs. Houston Prediction: Can Tyrece Radford, Aggies Shock the Cougars in Round of 32?
Don’t look now, but the Aggies are playing their best basketball of the season They nearly dropped 100 points against Nebraska in the first round of the NCAA Tournament the other day. Their opponent tonight took care of business in the first round as well, destroying Longwood by 40 points. Will Texas A&M keep their season alive with a big upset on Sunday, or will Houston continue their potential championship run?

Texas A&M vs. Houston Prediction
Both of these teams have some of the slowest paces in the power-five. Houston has an advantage on offense, but the Aggies best player is starting to heat up again. Wade Taylor went through a mid-season slump, but the Aggies best scorer has scored 25+ points in each of his last three games. They are going to need the Texas native playing at his best on Sunday, and luckily for the Aggies, he seems to be locked-in.
The Aggies are one of the best rebounding teams in the country. They rank as the best offensive rebounding team in college basketball, providing plenty of second-chance opportunities. Texas A&M took advantage of this in the first round, outshooting Nebraska by 12 shots. If the Aggies can grab some offensive rebounds like they did on Friday, they will have a chance to pull off the upset in this game.
Houston thrives off forcing turnovers, but Texas A&M has Tyrece Radford. The veteran can take care of the basketball for the Aggies, limiting the turnovers. I am not worried about the Cougars stealing possessions from the Aggies in this contest. Texas A&M has plenty of veterans who can take care of the basketball. Buzz Williams and the Aggies aren’t going to play into Houston’s strengths.
There are some big bets being placed not only on the Aggies spread, but on their moneyline as well. Less than 20% of the bets but more than 60% of the handle is currently backing Texas A&M (on VSIN). These big bets have moved the line in this game a good amount, a good sign for Aggies backers. Fade the highly-touted Cougars and back Texas A&M on the spread and moneyline on Sunday. Underdogs have been struggling of late in this tournament, but it’s only a matter of time before that changes.
