All eyes are on the UConn Huskies today!
The Huskies have won two consecutive National Championships. The last time the Huskies lost a game in the NCAA Tournament was in 2012. However, they'll be underdogs in today's Round of 32 matchup against No. 1 seeded Florida Gators.
The Huskies had an up-and-down season and didn't perform near expectations. On the other hand, the Florida Gators played above expectations and might literally be the best team in the nation. After all, the Gators won a conference tournament that had 14 teams in the NCAA Tournament this season.
The Gators look unbeatable right now. UConn doesn't. But that can all change in a heartbeat in March.
Will UConn head coach Dan Hurley have his guys ready for today's early clash against the Gators?

UConn vs. Florida Prediction
Over the last couple of seasons, the UConn Huskies were easily the most complete team in the NCAA Tournament.
However, this year, the Florida Gators are the most complete team.
And due to lots of inconsistent play this season, the Huskies now have to play the most complete team in the NCAA Tournament in the second round.
But as Dan Hurley said, it's deserved.
The Huskies haven't defended well enough this season. UConn made some big stops when it mattered most against Oklahoma, but Oklahoma missed many bunnies and easy layups. That won't happen with Florida. The Gators have shot 56.6% from inside the arc but have also nailed 35.4% from deep.
Meanwhile, UConn has allowed teams to shoot 34.6% from three-point range. The Gators scored nearly 35% of their points from three, and that should continue in this game.
In addition, the Huskies have fouled at a very high rate. Look for the Gators to add more foul shots today.
Meanwhile, UConn's offense was never the issue. They can score and have plenty of options. That said, Florida has limited teams to a 45.4% effective field goal percentage. The Gators have allowed just 29.3% from deep and 46.2% from inside the arc. Plus, unlike Florida, the Huskies likely won't see the foul line nearly as much. They'll have to rely on the offensive glass for second chances, but Florida has been better on the glass all season long.
Therefore, I'll side with Walter Clayton Jr. and the Florida Gators to handle business today. Take Florida at -9.5 (-110).
