4 minAuburn vs. Florida Same-Game Parlay: Can Johni Broome, Alex Condon Shine in Final Four Rematch?
Down to just four teams, all No. 1 seeds at that, the NCAA Tournament is setting up for what should be a must-watch Saturday doubleheader. In the opening game, Florida (-2.5) looks to sweep Auburn after heading to the Jungle and defeating the Tigers earlier this year.
Can Auburn exact revenge as short underdogs? Or will Florida use its late-game heroics against Texas Tech to keep momentum rolling all the way to the championship?
In honor of what should be an exciting Saturday, here’s a long shot same-game parlay with three of my favorite props for Auburn vs. Florida. Remember, it's a long shot for a reason. So please be mindful when placing this wager.

Florida vs. Auburn Same-Game Parlay
Leg 1: Johni Broome 4+ Assists (+240)
From what originally seemed like a possible season-ending injury to his return in the middle of the Elite Eight to ice the game via 3, Johni Broome is the engine of this Auburn offense.
In the first matchup between these two teams, Broome finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. He took 19 shots and was the obvious focal point for Todd Golden’s defense. However, Micah Handlogten was sidelined in that bout, another premier 7-foot-2 big man to combat the physicality of Broome.
Rather than backing him as a scorer, I’d rather target Broome as a facilitator. I’m not sure how efficient he will be with the Florida size, and I expect double teams and traps often. We saw during SEC play that he is not afraid to kick the ball out and use the added attention to draw open looks for his teammates – he was 19th in assist rate during that time!.
This is a great buy-low opportunity on Auburn’s offense as a whole. Aside from Broome the last couple of games, the offense has been inconsistent. But the backcourt is littered with elite 3-point shooters, with all three shooting 37%+ from deep.
Broome is still going to get his on the offensive end, but based on usage rate and Florida’s interior size, I expect plenty of more 3s and potential assists for the superstar senior on Saturday.
Leg 2: Tahaad Pettiford 3+ Three's (+245)
The jump to plus money here plays in part with Broome’s assist prop. Someone on Auburn is going to have to light it up from deep, and I’m going down the firecracker Tahaad Pettiford.
When Pettiford is on the floor, he not only runs the offense, but looks to score. He has the second-highest usage rate for the Tigers and is a volume shooter. In just his freshman year he has shown the ability to completely take over a game – he’s scored 20+ in two of the last three – and does so at an efficient rate.
Auburn will need a strong shooting night to take down Florida. We saw Texas Tech’s plan of attack and it worked tremendously – do not be shy from the perimeter and attack the offensive glass. The Red Raiders shot nearly 30 3s in that game and would have won if it weren’t for a late implosion.
Pettiford is the perfect complement to Broome. Both are elite at creating off the dribble and Pettiford should be able to use Broome as a screener to create space and force the defense into tough decisions. Like the rest of the Auburn backcourt, Pettiford shoots more 3s than 2s.
In the last eight games, Pettiford has made 2+ 3s in 75% of his games. He has 4+ in a quarter of those. Florida’s defense is elite and guards the perimeter well, which is why I like the elite speed and shot creation of Pettiford over Denver Jones and Miles Kelly here.
I like taking an alt line with Pettiford here because it goes hand-in-hand with Broome’s assist account. We could very well see a two-man game between the two. Plus, it brings our longshot parlay odds up a notch.
Pettiford is the most talented offensive guard in this Auburn offense and if the Tigers want to win here, he will be relied on heavily down the stretch to create.
Leg 3: Alex Condon Over 7.5 Rebounds (+110)
Florida fans’ world seemed to stop spinning when Alex Condon suffered an ankle injury against Maryland. He is such a key to both the UF offense and defense that could have spelt doom had the injury held him out of the tournament.
Instead, he pushed through the pain and then played a full workload against Texas Tech in the Elite Eight. While he did not shoot as well, having another week to inch toward 100% is key Condon played an instrumental role in Florida’s win against Auburn earlier this season.
In that game, Condon played 33 minutes, shooting 7-of-10 from the field with 17 points and 10 rebounds. His ability to create second-chance points at an elite rate should play a key role against an Auburn defense that struggles on the defensive glass (162nd).
I like backing Condon in the rebounding game and even think he’s live for a double-double, if you want to get crazy. In games where Condon has played at least 20+ minutes, he has grabbed 8+ rebounds in 60% of his games.
Both teams are not afraid to run an uptempo offense which should help rebounding numbers here as well. The aforementioned ‘basketball court in a football stadium’ perception could also lead to a lower shooting percentage all around.
I’m happy to back Florida’s best rebounder here in the biggest game of the season. The plus money helps give this parlay another boost that nears 20-1.
