Chicago enters as a short road favorite, with the Sky -2.5 (-108), Seattle +2.5 (-112) and the total at 177.5. The Sky are also -130 on the moneyline, while Seattle is +110. Chicago sits at 12-22, compared with 7-29 for the Storm.
Seattle produced one of its rare bright spots last Monday when Dominique Malonga scored 26 points with 10 rebounds in a 97-88 victory over Chicago. The win ended an 11-game Storm losing streak, but Seattle immediately returned to the loss column Friday with an 84-82 home defeat against Portland.

Chicago Sky vs. Seattle Storm Prediction
That leaves Seattle with only one victory across its past 13 games. Malonga has been excellent at 16.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, while Flau'jae Johnson and Natasha Hiedeman provide additional scoring, but the Storm have consistently struggled to finish games even when the young core plays well.
Chicago has also lost three straight, including the Seattle defeat and a 91-71 loss to Golden State on Wednesday. The stretch looks ugly on the surface, but the Sky were much more competitive in the 90-86 loss to Indiana immediately before the Seattle game and already beat the Storm 95-90 earlier this season.
That first meeting showed a cleaner version of Chicago’s offense, with Azurá Stevens scoring 20 points and Sydney Taylor adding 17. Seattle clearly adjusted in the rematch, but asking the Storm to reproduce that performance when it remains their only win since early July is difficult.
Chicago Sky vs. Seattle Storm Best Bet
- Pick: Chicago Sky Moneyline (-130) Click here to get the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
The spread provides little additional value compared with the moneyline. Chicago only needs to reverse last week’s result, while Seattle has gone right back to losing despite playing both recent home games competitively. At -130, backing the Sky to split the season series is preferable to laying 2.5 points.
