Golden State is one of the hottest teams in basketball entering Wednesday. Golden State leads the league in defensive rating at 101.4 and opponent scoring at 76.7 points per game, while seven Valkyries rank inside the league's top 15 in individual defensive rating among qualified players. That depth is especially important against a Minnesota offense capable of attacking through Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride and rookie Olivia Miles.
Minnesota deserves to be favored. The Lynx have won four straight, sit three games ahead of Golden State and bring one of the league's deepest collections of high-end talent.
