The Wings' skid continued Monday with a 78-70 loss at Golden State. Dallas scored only nine points in the second quarter and trailed by 16 at halftime before making a late push, with Paige Bueckers scoring 19 of her 21 points after halftime. The Wings have now lost eight of 11 overall, but returning home provides an opportunity to stop the slide.

Dallas will have to do it without Azzi Fudd, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season because of persistent right knee soreness. That removes a 13.1-point scorer from the rotation, but Bueckers, Arike Ogunbowale, Jessica Shepard and Odyssey Sims still give the Wings enough offensive creation to challenge Indiana.
The Fever won the second meeting 98-87 in Indianapolis last Friday, with Bueckers and Caitlin Clark each scoring 29 points. Dallas stayed competitive for much of that game before Indiana separated, but the season series is still split because the Wings won a 107-104 thriller in Indianapolis on opening day. Dallas shot 59% in that victory, with Ogunbowale scoring 22 and Bueckers adding 20.
That history matters with the rematch shifting to Dallas. Indiana has unquestionably been the steadier team and recently won four straight, but neither meeting has suggested the Fever are dramatically superior to the Wings when Dallas plays close to its ceiling. The Wings have already proven they can beat this group outright and now have an immediate revenge opportunity after last week's defeat.
