Brian Ortega vs. Yair Rodriguez Prediction

The UFC returns on Saturday afternoon, and we have a solid card to get into. We had a 3-2 week last week, which is ok, but I expect better as I am in the gambling hall of fame for UFC.

The card gets started early, but I found a bet for the main event that I love. The matchup will be between Brian Ortega vs. Yair Rodriguez. This should be a great matchup as these are two extremely talented fighters that are used to winning. Ortega is a thirty-one-year-old who enters this fight with an overall record of 15-2. He stands 5'7 weighing in at 145. Rodriguez is a twenty-nine-year-old who has the height advantage here, standing 5'9 and also weighing in at 145.

Ortega is the favorite for this fight as the line has continued to move his way all week long. One advantage that Rodriguez has here statistically is his reach which is seventy-one inches compared to Ortega, who is at sixty-nine. Ortega is fresh off a loss which is rare in his career as he only has two. I fully expect him to bounce back today and win this fight. I think he is too talented to lose back-to-back fights, and I like the way his fighting style matches up here with Rodriguez. I will trust the better fighter here to bounce back and get us rich.
