The card that is the legendary UFC 280 on Fight Island is finally upon us, as two titles will be on the line at the top as Charles Oliveira takes on Islam Makhachev (lightweight) and Aljamain Sterling fights TJ Dillashaw (bantamweight). While there is a ton of value throughout this UFC 280 card, let’s take a closer look at two of the prop bets I’m most keyed in on this week.

Lina Lansberg vs. Karol Rosa Prediction

A pair of women bantamweights will get us started at 10:00 AM EST on Saturday as veteran fighter Lisa Lansberg takes on Karol Rosa. The second-oldest female fighter in the UFC, Lansberg is 40 years old and is 13 years older than her opponent. Even still, as fight night nears, we noted that more people were betting on the seasoned competitor, as her odds decreased from +235 to +210.
Rosa enters this fight on the wrong end of a fight for the first time since joining the UFC, a March unanimous decision loss to Sara McMann. The defeat also put an end to a six-fight winning streak, but I believe she will resume it with this fight. Rosa has an edge in the all-important strikes landed (3x), takedown averages (2x), and takedown defense (2x) going into the matchup.
The judges' scorecard has been used in each of these two's last combined ten fights, and their combined UFC fight time has been 2.83 rounds on average. Don't expect Lansberg to go down without a fight as this one goes the distance in what may be the final bout of her career.
Although it would probably be okay to lay the juice, I like Rosa to win this bout by decision.

Nikita Krylov vs. Volkan Oezdemir Prediction

With a collective 87% of this matchup's victories coming inside the distance, there is a high probability this one ends via fireworks.
Two defeats in a row for the favorite Krylov were followed by a decisive first-round knockout victory over Alexander Gustaffson in July, which propelled him back into the top 10 in the division.
Similar circumstances apply to Oezedemir, whose two-fight losing streak ended with a victory over Paul Craig in July. Oezdemir has had several setbacks since facing Daniel Cormier for the belt in January 2018, losing five out of his last eight fights.
With the exception of takedown defense, which we don't have to worry about with Oezdemir, Krylov holds the advantage or equals his opponent going into this bout in every single statistic I examine every week. I like the value in this one ending early in favor of the Ukrainian even if -165 is probably fine straight up.
