Jamie Mullarkey vs. Francisco Prado Prediction

Alas, we head to one of the most action-packed featured bouts in recent memory, as Jamie "Can Of" Mullarkey takes on promotional newcomer Francisco Prado. The Undisputed Pride of Central Coast, New South Wales looks to welcome the 20-year-old Argentinian Prado into the biggest fight promotion in the game, with Francisco securing this gargantuan opportunity in the first place by filling in on short notice following Nasrat Haqparast's sudden departure in its entirety of the Perth card just two weeks prior.

While not entering the UFC with the most prolific fanfare, Mullarkey has dug tooth and nail to amass quite the following nevertheless, not just reciprocated from the people down under. Still, fans of violence in general following his carnage-laced run of absolute debauchery in not only his epic victories but in the bombastic defeats as well. When the cage door closes, Mullarkey tends to utilize a high guard, "Peekaboo" style, barreling towards his adversaries with reckless abandonment in a usually winning effort to close the distance and break subsequent skulls.

Although on paper a black belt, there are not exactly the most astute grappling practitioners situated out of Australia, so take that little tidbit with a grain of salt. To the surprise of no one on his bread and butter lays with his unparalleled ferocity and kill-or-be-killed nature, the adamantium chin he also has at his disposal doesn't hurt either.

Looking at the tape of Mullarkey's plucky South American upstart adversary I have noticed a few things that might pose cause for concern. For one, over 85 percent of his matches have ended in the 1st round. While that title might be exciting from a marketing perspective, the fact of the matter is we simply cannot ascertain any viable data regarding his gas tank during the later rounds because of it. Another is the hilarious record padding, with most of Prado's opponents being at the 500. mark if not dramatically lower at poultry 2-11, 1-3 etc.

So what exactly does one wager here if inclined to go down that path? Although Mullarkey is favored due to his vast experience edge and overall more robust/complete skill set, his line is rather inflated due to the betting market factoring all of this ages ago. Instead opt to wager on the under 2.5 as I believe the chance for a Mullarkey decision is not particularly live as well as it covering the event that the Argentinian could maybe pull off a 1st round upset in the same vein as what Brunno Ferreira did to Gregory Rodrigues last PPV. Bet the under incase everything but your bank account goes in a woeful misdirection of a blunder.
