Viviane Araujo vs. Amanda Ribas Prediction

Amanda Ribas, at one point, was looking like a title challenger, but she has dropped two of her last three fights. I thought she was going to win her last fight against Kaitlyn Chookigan, but it was a split decision. Now she fights another top 10 fighter in Araujo.

Viviane Araujo comes into this fight, dropping two of three herself, and hasn’t looked that great in her last couple of fights. This should be a stand-up war for the most part. Araujo does have some slick wrestling, but I really feel Ribas will negate that well in this fight. The longer this fight goes, it really favors Ribas more than Araujo.

Araujo has shown that as the fight goes on, she gases out. She hasn’t got any better in any of her fights, and in my opinion, she has gotten worse. In my opinion, Ribas is an all-around better fighter than Araujo. Amanda's striking could give Viviane a lot of problems, and she could easily gas herself out because of it.

The one thing that worries me about Ribas is that her output sometimes is lacking, and she doesn’t throw as much as she should. But she looked a lot better in her last fight, and she definitely threw more punches than her previous times. This should be a good fight with two top 10 women at flyweight. But Amanda Ribas is the better fighter and should be able to control this fight.
