Probably not, but that would be funny. This Saturday, Max 'Blessed' Holloway will take on Arnold 'Almighty' Allen in Kansas City, which I found out isn't even in Kansas. Anyways let's take a look at this matchup from a betting perspective.

Max Holloway is currently a -175 betting favorite against the Englishman, which I find a bit surprisingly close. Holloway may hold the record for the most absorbed strikes in UFC history, but he also has not lost a non-title fight since he was 21 years old.
This is mostly due to his relentless pace that he has proven time and time again he can keep up over 25 minutes. The guy has more gas than Derrick Lewis after a cookout. Arnold Allen, on the other hand, has never seen a fifth round or even fourth round in his entire career.
Don't get me wrong, Allen is a stud, but his only top-10 win came from a fluke, non-contact injury against Calvin Kattar. It is extremely hard for me to place a bet on someone whose best win came against Dan Hooker's skeleton, especially when you are fighting a guy with the resumé that Max Holloway has.
Conor McGregor, Jose Aldo, Charles Oliveira, Dustin Poirier, Alexander Volkanovski, Yair Rodriguez, and Frankie Edgar are just a few names that Holloway has shared the octagon with, which I feel is slightly more valuable than half of a round with Dan Hooker.
I do not care how cool Arnold Allen's mustache is, and I cannot ignore the advantages that Holloway possesses. With experience, style, and smooth talking, Max will leave no turn unstoned this Saturday and will walk away with a victory.
