UFC 287 Same Game Parlay

Leg One: Jaqueline Amorim (-265)

There won't be many fight fans or sports bettors who have heard of Jaqueline Amorim before her fight with Sam Hughes, but she could become one of the stars of this event if she lives up to her potential.

A submission specialist with some decent power in her hands, Amorim has all the potential in the world to be a star at 115 lbs which doesn't bode well for her opponent. Hughes hasn't impressed me at all during her six appearances inside the octagon, and she's more than likely going to have a hard time handling Amorim tonight.

Leg Two: Ignacio Bahamondes (-380)

Ignacio Bahamondes is the type of mixed martial artist who fight fans and sports bettors love. A skilled offensive fighter who isn't afraid to throw a spinning attack or lock in a swift submission if given the opportunity, tonight's bout against Trey Ogden should be considered a showcase fight for the 25-year-old Chilean.

Ogden is a talented grappler who could potentially catch Bahamondes in a submission during a scramble, but when it comes to striking Bahamondes is levels above his opponent and I believe this is how he'll win his fight tonight.

Leg Three: Chris Curtis (+115)

I personally believe Chris Curtis is the biggest live dog on this fight card. Honestly, the fact that he's +115 should have sports bettors flocking to their favorite sportsbooks to bet on him to beat Kelvin Gastelum tonight.

I imagine the odds are in the favor of Gastelum due to his wrestling pedigree and the level of competition he's faced in his career. However, it's been two years since The Ultimate Fighter Season 17 fighter competed inside the octagon and I believe ring rust will be a major factor for him.

Curtis has proven himself to be a heavy-hitter over the last couple of years, knocking out Joaquin Buckley, Brendan Allen, and Phil Hawes since making his UFC debut in November 2021.

That shouldn't change in this fight and I expect him to land heavy shots on Gastelum and stifle his takedown attempts.

Leg Four: Raul Rosas Jr (-240)

There's a lot of hype surrounding Raul Rosas Jr and for good reason. The 18-year-old bantamweight has proven himself to be a bit of a phenom and it's likely that the UFC has put him on their main card to give him the opportunity to show off his talents.

UFC matchmakers Mick Maynard and Sean Shelby have smartly put him against Christian Rodriguez, a fighter who won't be afraid to tangle with Rosas Jr. on the ground if the fight hits the floor.

However, if that does happen, Rosas Jr will more than likely take over as he has a dynamic grappling style that cannot be overlooked.

Leg Five: Adrian Yanez (-180)

Speaking of bantamweight prospects, Adrian Yanez is another 135lber who fight fans should be paying close attention to. Considered by many as one of the best boxers in the division, Yanez has the sort of striking that can make him a huge fan favorite in no time.

His opponent, Rob Font, is also very boxing-heavy when it comes to his skillset, so expect a shootout between these two scrappers. It'll be a close bout as both men have shown an insane amount of toughness during their careers, but Font hasn't fought for nearly a year and, as I said before, ring rust will be an issue.

I expect Yanez to take over in the later rounds by punishing Font with body strikes to disintegrate his

Leg Six: Israel Adesanya (-140)

Considering Israel Adesanya has already lost three times to Alex Pereira during his combat sports career -twice in kickboxing and once in MMA - I completely understand why many would back the Brazilian to defeat Adesanya again.

That being said, I truly believe the former UFC middleweight champion will defeat Pereira tonight based on their last bout. Sure, Pereira got the victory in their first fight, but prior to his flurry of punches in the fifth round, Adesanya was winning the contest comfortably.

Adesanya will take plenty of positives from his performance and if he's able to avoid Pereira's left hand, then the title will be more than likely wrapped around the waist of 'Stylebender'.
