Rodolfo Bellato vs. Paul Craig Prediction, Betting Pick, Latest Odds for UFC Fight Night Las Vegas

Rodolfo Bellato will look to overcome his latest draw with a matchup against Paul Craig in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 106.

Bellato is now just 1-0-1 since making his UFC debut on December 2 against Ihor Potieria. After his TKO of Potieria, he tied Jimmy Crute and finished the UFC 312 fight with a draw.

Meanwhile, he'll take on veteran Paul Craig, who is already 37 years old. He's lost four of his last five bouts, including a three-round decision loss to Bo Nickal back on November 16, 2024.

Craig has some notable wins in his career, including wins against Jamahal Hill, Gadzhimurad Antigulove, and Nikita Krylov. However, he's been knocked out more times than he's earned a knockout in his MMA career.

Therefore, he's a heavy underdog heading into Saturday's light heavyweight matchup. Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for the UFC Fight Night bout between Rodolfo Bellato vs. Paul Craig.

Rodolfo Bellato vs. Paul Craig Prediction

In Rodolfo Bellato's latest fight, he tried to take down Crute but failed in the first round. Crute took advantage of his top position, dominating the ground and pound. Crute even added a takedown of his own, which helped him get out to an early lead.

However, Bellato responded with many leg kicks and good combinations in rounds two and three, salvaging a brutal round one and earning a draw.

Bellato's resilience was fun to see. It's also clear that his striking has improved, yet he's still unproven at the UFC level. As he moves up the ranks, he won't be able to overcome a missed takedown that leads to a 10-8 round for his opponent.

This is especially true against Paul Craig, who has earned 13 submissions in his career. Bellato will want to avoid Craig's guard traps and use leg kicks to wear Craig down.

Meanwhile, Craig will be looking to chase submissions. So Bellato must stay composed throughout this match. In addition, four of Craig's last five losses have been stopped ahead of the final bell.

Craig is getting older and isn't getting any better. Consider Bellato by decision at +500 odds. We'll just hope there's no major scrambles in this fight.
