Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates Prediction
Carlos Prates brings a measured, surgical approach to violence. Standing at 6'1" with a 78-inch reach, he is a tall and rangy striker who uses his length effectively with teep kicks, body shots, and vicious elbows in close. His defense is underrated, and he rarely overcommits, which limits opponents' counter opportunities. He also has excellent takedown defense and can fight comfortably off his back foot, making him dangerous both as a lead attacker and a counter striker. If he keeps this fight at range and avoids extended brawls, he has all the tools to control the tempo and pick Neal apart.
Geoff Neal will be looking to do the opposite by closing the distance and dragging Prates into a firefight. Neal is an aggressive southpaw who throws with malicious intent. His left hand remains one of the most dangerous weapons in the division, and he can shut the lights off with a single clean connection.
