Islam Dulatov vs Wellington Turman Prediction
Dulatov made an immediate statement in his UFC debut by knocking out Adam Fugitt with punches at 4:06 of the opening round. He earned his contract with a first-round elbow knockout of Vanilton Antunes and previously stopped Ioannis Palaiologos with a knee to the body. All 12 of his wins have come by knockout or submission.
Turman was submitted by Jared Gooden in the second round of his most recent appearance. That followed unanimous decision losses to Randy Brown and Andre Petroski. His last victory came in February 2022, when he submitted Misha Cirkunov with an armbar after previously edging Sam Alvey by split decision.
Turman’s grappling experience gives him a potential route to slowing the favorite, but closing the distance will be difficult. Dulatov stands 6-foot-3, uses his reach effectively and has shown the ability to punish opponents with punches, elbows, knees and body attacks when they attempt to move inside.
