Ty Miller vs. Billy Ray Goff Prediction
Miller carries an unbeaten 7-0 record with one no contest and made an immediate impression in his UFC debut by stopping Adam Fugitt with one second remaining in the opening round. The former Golden Gloves boxer stands 6-foot-2 with a 77.5-inch reach, allowing him to attack from distance before extending combinations once opponents enter the pocket. His patience has also improved as his competition has increased, making him less dependent on landing one perfect shot.
Goff enters at 9-4 and owns considerably more professional experience, but he has lost consecutive fights and is only 1-2 inside the UFC. Ramiz Brahimaj submitted him in the first round of his most recent appearance, while seven of Goff’s nine career victories have come by stoppage. That finishing history makes him dangerous, but his pressure-heavy approach frequently creates the type of open exchanges that favor a longer and more technically polished boxer.
The physical dimensions are difficult to ignore. Miller owns roughly five inches of reach and can work behind straight punches while forcing Goff to cross significant distance before answering. If Goff responds by charging into the pocket, Miller can meet him with combinations rather than retreating into prolonged wrestling exchanges. Goff’s path becomes much stronger if he can make the fight ugly along the fence, but that requires repeatedly surviving clean entries.
Miller’s UFC debut also showed an ability to remain composed while hunting a finish rather than recklessly emptying his gas tank. That matters against Goff, who can absorb punishment and keep advancing. Miller should have multiple opportunities to hurt him across the opening exchanges, and the favorite’s accuracy should become increasingly damaging as Goff begins taking risks.
Ty Miller vs. Billy Ray Goff Pick
- Pick: Ty Miller by KO (+110) Check out these best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
The -440 moneyline is unusable compared with the available finishing prop. Miller by KO at +110 more directly attacks the area where he holds the clearest advantage and produces a significantly stronger return. Goff’s aggression should eventually create the opening, and Miller has the size, speed and combination punching to capitalize.
