The upset case begins with Sola making Ziam work more frequently than he wants. Ziam is comfortable picking his moments from distance, so Sola needs to combine forward pressure with changes of level and clinch entries. Forcing repeated transitions would give him opportunities to score while interrupting the cleaner striking exchanges that favor the more established contender.
There is a real danger in advancing carelessly against Ziam, and the Jones loss showed Sola cannot assume an encouraging opening will carry him through three rounds.
