Ribovics brings a completely different kind of momentum after stopping Edson Barboza in August. The Argentine returns just 49 days later for another veteran test and enters as a substantial favorite.

Green has been outstanding in 2026. He stopped Daniel Zellhuber in the second round in February, submitted Jeremy Stephens in May and scored a first-round TKO against Terrance McKinney in July.
That extended his winning streak to four and gave Green seven victories in his last 10 fights. He remains one of the division's highest-volume strikers at 6.49 significant strikes landed per minute while maintaining a 62% significant strike defense.
Esteban Ribovics (16-3)
Ribovics opened 2026 with a submission loss against Mateusz Gamrot but immediately responded with one of the biggest wins of his career. He overwhelmed Barboza and secured a second-round TKO at UFC 330 in August.

Green's current form makes this a dangerous spot to lay a large price on Ribovics. He has rediscovered his finishing ability in 2026 and remains extremely difficult to read because of his stance, hand position and counter timing.
Ribovics may be one of the better opponents to challenge that style, however. He is willing to throw combinations in volume and stay committed to pressure, which can gradually reduce the amount of open space Green has to operate.

Green's current streak cannot be dismissed, but his recent career has also included first-round knockout losses to Mauricio Ruffy and Jalin Turner. Ribovics does not need to outclass Green technically for 15 minutes if his pressure eventually creates one clean finishing sequence.
