Jourdain enters his UFC debut carrying a four-fight winning and finishing streak. The younger brother of longtime UFC veteran Charles Jourdain earned his contract by submitting Magno Dias in the third round on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Cuamba provides a considerable experience test after five UFC appearances and one Contender Series fight. His recent results have been mixed, but his style has repeatedly produced long, competitive bouts.

Louis Jourdain (9-3)
Jourdain has not lost since January 2021 and has finished each of his last four opponents. His Contender Series victory over Dias came by rear-naked choke with only 39 seconds remaining in the third round.
He owns four knockouts and two submissions, giving him six finishes in nine victories. Jourdain is also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and has enough grappling ability to create danger if Cuamba allows the fight to become chaotic.
Timothy Cuamba (10-4)
Cuamba is coming off a second-round submission loss against Benardo Sopaj in May. Before that, he earned a unanimous decision over ChangHo Lee and stopped Roberto Romero in the second round.
Five of Cuamba’s 10 victories have come by knockout and five by decision. Four of his first five UFC or Contender Series appearances reached the judges before his last two bouts ended in the second round.

Jourdain’s finishing streak makes a distance prop uncomfortable on the surface. He has stopped four straight opponents and should enter with enormous energy while making his debut in front of a Canadian crowd.
Cuamba’s broader history still points toward a more controlled fight than those recent Jourdain results suggest. He has already shown he can navigate close striking matches over three rounds, and half of his professional victories have come by decision.
The stylistic matchup also gives Cuamba a chance to slow things down. He is primarily a striker and generally does not force reckless exchanges simply because an opponent wants to increase the tempo.
Jourdain’s experience around UFC events through his brother may help reduce some of the usual debut nerves, but an actual UFC appearance remains a different challenge. There is a reasonable chance both fighters begin more cautiously than their finishing records initially suggest.
Cuamba does not have to win the fight for this prop to cash. He simply needs to survive the full 15 minutes, and his track record in longer UFC contests creates enough value at a manageable price.
