3 minGeorgia vs. South Carolina Prediction, Pick, Odds: Is Georgia's Offense Good Enough For SEC Play?
The Georgia Bulldogs will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks in their first SEC matchup.
Georgia hasn't been tested yet this year. They've only played UT Martin and Ball State and won those games easily.
On the other hand, when South Carolina was tested against North Carolina in Week 1, the Gamecocks lost 31-17.
The Bulldogs are expected to earn a College Football Playoff bid behind new QB Carson Beck. Can South Carolina dampen those plans?
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Saturday's game between the South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Georgia Bulldogs.

South Carolina vs. Georgia Prediction
The South Carolina Gamecocks got back on track in Week 2 with a 47-21 win over Furman. But that game against North Carolina will haunt them.
There are many ways to beat this South Carolina team moving forward. Georgia just has to watch some tape on North Carolina.
And they will.
The Gamecocks are led by Spencer Rattler, who has added nearly 700 yards passing and three touchdowns. He hasn't thrown an interception yet, but he's been sacked nine times in two games.
Georgia's front line on defense is one of the strongest in college football. The pass rush hasn't been highly effective over the first two games. But they'll be awake for their first SEC matchup at home.
Georgia has held their first two teams to 137.5 yards passing and 104.5 yards rushing. South Carolina should outdo those numbers. But the offensive line needs to play better for Rattler to make plays.
On the other hand, Carson Beck has thrown for 577 yards. He's got three passing touchdowns, along with an interception.
The Georgia offense hasn't been imposing. But it's good enough with the kind of defense that they have.
The Bulldogs have scored 48 against UT Martin and 45 against Ball State. Sometimes, you'd like to see them run the score up like Florida State and LSU did last weekend.
Georgia's pass protection should be excellent in this game. However, the playmaking on the offensive end isn't elite. The run game has earned just 4.4 yards per carry through two games. Meanwhile, only Mekhi Mews has over 100 yards receiving in two games for Georgia.
Georgia has Brock Bowers but has only thrown to him six times for 81 yards.
So, while the Bulldogs will be terrific on defense, I'm not sure about the offense.
I'll take the Under 55.5 in this game.
