Well, we are just a day away from another Saturday of non-stop action here on the gridiron, but before that, we have some Friday Night Lights tonight, and I am ready to dive into one of the games I am digging, so let's dive into the action.

Virginia vs. Maryland Prediction
It is go time for this Virginia squad, there is no other way to put it. Since Tony Elliot took the helm last year, the Cavaliers are just 3-9 overall and have struggled immensely on the road. With that said, they showed some glimpses of hope at the end of the year last year, keeping some big games against schools like Miami and UNC one-score games, and for that reason, I am willing to trust they fight tonight.
No one expected anything from them in Week 1 against Tennessee, but any time a team plays a squad that much better than them, there can and should be positive takeaways, and I think that squad learned something in that game. Last week, they looked fine until the delay and blew a lead to JMU in the fourth quarter to lose by one, so I assume the blood is boiling for the Cavaliers.
Maryland is, without question, the more talented squad here, but they have had a cupcake schedule to this point, and I simply am not impressed with them so far. These Friday nights and midweek games garner extra attention, being primetime, out-of-schedule games for the players, so I expect this to stay close. Look for the Cavs to keep this one inside two touchdowns.
