Colorado State vs. Colorado Prediction

The headline of this game is the comments made by Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell. Norvell said, “When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me.”

The comment was made as a dig at Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, who is known for his swagger. This was probably not a smart comment by Norvell, as Sanders commented back, telling his team, “Now it’s personal.”

Colorado State is one of the worst teams in football, winning just one game a season ago.

The Rams enter play 0-1, losing 50-24 to Washington State in Week 1.

Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi will get the start. Fowler-Nicolosi came on in relief in Week 1, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.

The Rams struggled to run the football in Week 1, rushing for just 37 yards as a team. The team's leading rusher was senior Avery Morrow, who rushed for 29 yards.

One bright spot of the Week 1 loss was Wide Receiver Justus Ross-Simmons, who led the team with five catches for 123 yards.

The Rams' defense was putrid, allowing 556 yards. 466 of those yards were via the pass.

Colorado has gotten off to a picture-perfect start.

The Buffaloes took down TCU in a massive upset in week one and followed that up with a convincing win over Nebraska in Week 2.

Shedur Sanders has shown that he has the ability to be a quarterback at the next level and is a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate. Sanders has thrown for 903 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions in the first two weeks.

Travis Hunter is the best player on this Buffaloes team. He is the Shohei Ohtani of college football, starting at Wide Receiver and Cornerback. Hunter has 14 catches for 192 yards on offense and, seven tackles, and an interception on defense.

Senior Wide Receiver Xavier Weaver leads the team in receiving with 16 catches for 288 yards and one touchdown.

The biggest issue a season ago was defense for Buffalo, as they were one of the worst defenses in college football. This new looks defense was built in the transfer portal, and overall, they have looked pretty good so far.

Colorado State vs. Colorado Pick

Colorado is one of the most electric offenses in college football, and they will have their way with this bad Rams defense.

The pace that Colorado plays with will make this play fly over, as we will see plenty of drives from this offense, which will lead to more points.

Sheduer Sanders has put up video game-like numbers early in this season, and now this is the worst defense that he has faced.

Lastly, this Colorado team is playing this game with extra motivation after the comments made by Jay Norvell. At home, the caped will be electric for this rivalry game.
