Tonight’s CFB game between Georgia State and Coastal Carolina will be more entertaining than the TNF NFL game. With the total at 62.5, oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points between two of the best offenses in the Sun Belt.

Georgia State vs. Coastal Carolina Prediction
Last year, Coastal beat Georgia State 41-24, but that game was much closer than the scoreboard indicated. The Panthers turned the ball over four times in that contest, resulting in numerous scores for the Chanticleers. The majority of those turnovers can be pinned on Darren Grainger, the duel-threat QB who’s looked much improved this season. Grainger has yet to throw an interception in three games this year, leading the Panthers to their first 3-0 start in program history.
Grainger isn’t the only stud on the offensive side of the ball for the Panthers. Marcus Carroll has been a workhorse in the backfield for Georgia State, logging at least 20 carries in each game this season. Carroll averaged over 5.0 YPC against Coastal Carolina last year in one of the more efficient games of his season. This Panthers rushing attack has only gotten better in Grainger and Carroll’s senior seasons.
Grayson McCall is still the quarterback at Coastal, and he’s one of the better players at his position in the country, but he hasn’t gotten into a groove yet this season. He threw an interception in each of his first two games and barely played in a blowout victory last week. The Panthers are heading to Conway, South Carolina, playing their best football in program history. Don’t be surprised if they catch McCall and the Chanticleers sleeping tonight.
