Ole Miss vs. Alabama Prediction

This rivalry dates all the way back to 1894. The first time that these two teams played, Grover Clevland was the president of the United States, and the first airplane was yet to fly.

Since then, there have been a lot of good games between the two teams, but it has mostly been Crimson Tide.

Alabama leads the all-time series 54-10-2.

Since 2004, Ole Miss has beaten the Tide just once, as Alabama has won eight consecutive games against the Rebels.

Ole Miss enters play with a record of 3-0 on the young season.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart has led the way, throwing for 852 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception.

Dart also leads the team in rushing yards with 113 yards.

Running back Quinshon Judkins leads the team with four rushing touchdowns while he is averaging 3.3 yards per carry.

Jordan Watkins leads the wide receiver core for the Rebels. Watkins has 290 yards and one touchdown.

Wide receiver Tre Harris leads the team in touchdown catches with five.

The defense has been the issue in the Lane Kiffin era for the Rebels, but so far, so good for Ole Miss on the defensive side of the football, holding all three of their opponents under 24 points.

Alabama has yet to impress on the young season as they enter play with a 2-1 record.

Texas took down Bama at home in Week 2, which means they can not lose another game if they want to have a legitimate shot to make the playoffs.

The biggest issue for the Tide has been the quarterback position. Alabama started Tyler Buchner in Week 3, but he did not last the whole game. Bama turned to freshman Ty Simpson, who looked okay in limited time.

Nick Saban has not announced a starter for Week 4.

Running backs Roydell Williams and Jase McClellan have combined for 335 yards and two touchdowns.

Isaiah Bond has led the Tide with 152 yards receiving. Wideout Jermaine Burton leads the Tide with two touchdown receptions.

Ole Miss vs. Alabama Pick

The entire world is writing off Alabama based on what we saw the last two weeks, but I will not write off Nick Saban.

Saban will have his team well prepared for this game, and playing at home after losing to Texas, Alabama will take care of business.

Alabama holds a major advantage in the trenches.

The Tide should be able to run the football down the throats of Ole Miss in this game and control the time of possession.

Alabama will continue its dominance over Ole Miss on Saturday.
