The wheels fell off for Colorado in their most recent game against the Oregon Ducks. Colorado lost that game, 42-6, in embarrassing fashion.
Now they'll face a USC team that is arguably better than Oregon.
USC is 4-0 and has the former Heisman winner Caleb Williams. Williams has been just as good this year, with 1200 passing yards and 15 touchdowns in four games.

USC vs. Colorado Prediction
The Colorado Buffaloes had a fun little three-game win streak. But it was snapped the moment they played Oregon.
The schedule doesn't get any easier in the Pac-12. They'll take on a USC team with one of the nation's best offenses.
USC has averaged nearly 570 yards per game, including 377.3 in the air. As mentioned above, Caleb Williams has thrown 15 touchdowns with no interceptions and added 1200 yards passing.
His favorite receiver, Tahj Washington, already has four touchdowns on ten catches. Washington has earned nearly 28 yards per reception.
USC has deep threats galore. But they'll be able to run all over Colorado like every team has this season.
Marshawn Lloyd has added 8.9 yards per carry on 39 carries this season.
Meanwhile, Colorado has given up 206.5 yards per game on the ground. The Buffaloes are bad against the run and have missed plenty of tackles. The pass rush also isn't very encouraging.
On the other hand, USC has one of the best pass protections in college football. The Trojans also have an incredible run game that should dominate against Colorado's defense.
On defense, USC has struggled with tackling. But the pass rush and coverage units are sensational. All Buffalo wants to do is throw with Shedeur Sanders. But his offensive line hasn't held up. It's also taking Sanders a while to get rid of the football.
Nothing will change against USC in this game.
I'll take USC to cover the spread of 23. This line will likely move a lot until the kick-off. I'd take this number up to 27.5.
