Well we are coming off a strong 3-1 Saturday on the gridiron last week and I am ready to attack a total I am loving here early on this fine Tuesday. The Kansas Jayhawks, currently ranked 24th in the nation, are heading to DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin for a clash between undefeated teams with the No. 3 Texas Longhorns. Both squads have a lot to play for in this one and I expect it to be one of the most electric games we see this weekend.

Kansas vs. Texas Prediction
Let me get this out of the way first, Texas is a legit National Championship contender that I am totally behind but Kansas being a 17-point dog here is just disrespectful. Don't get me wrong, Kansas is going to have so much to handle this week, I expect far more than they can but I still think they will be in this football game to an extent and for that reason, I love the total.
Texas has beat the breaks out of everyone they have played other than Alabama even though they still scored 34 points in that game to win by double digits. It would take a miracle for KU to upset Texas again in Austin as they did two years ago. With that said, I think we see an absolute barnburner here. Four of the last five meetings between these teams have flown over and the one that went under still cleared 40 points.
Texas is going to drop 35-42+ on this Kansas defense that has given up at least 23 points in each of their last three games. Kansas is going to struggle to keep pace here but I still see them in the 27-28 point range, they have playmakers and a great quarterback who have put up points all year so far.
