This is do or die time for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels. Last week's loss to Alabama did not kill their season as it was still Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa and Alabama is still Alabama. Kiffin has challenged him a bit in recent years and nearly stole the game late last season but took a step back this year in a game that may not have been favored to win but had every opportunity to do so.

LSU vs. Ole Miss Prediction
Tonight, the LSU Tigers will clash with the Rebels in Oxford, Mississippi, for what is now the most important game of the season for both of these squads. With one loss on the record the college football playoff chances are hurting but neither of them are out of the race due to the fact that that loss came to a very talented, ranked opponent. With that said, dropping another game, specifically an in conference game, would take them both out of the race for the SEC West and the CFP itself.
Ole Miss is the team more poised for the win here being the squad in the bounce-back spot with home field advantage and other motivations kicking in to factor as well. Ole Miss was ranked seventh in the nation and winning early against LSU before the Tigers thrashed the Rebels and their college football playoff hopes in Death Valley.
With the Magnolia Bowl returning to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium this year, the necessity to win for survival in the conference (this would be their second conference loss) and overall advantage of getting them back here at home, I like the Rebels. This is a big spot for Pete Goulding to show up, Jaxson Dart to prove he is that guy and for Lane Kiffin to get the Rebels back on track.
